Ivanka Trump sports gorgeous white gown as she heads off to Winfield House reception
Ivanka Trump received a lot of backlash for her earlier outfit at the state banquet and decided to take her style game to the next level for the Winfield House reception
First Daughter Ivanka Trump decided to step up on the style front after her state banquet dinner outfit — a shirt collar blue gown — was slammed on social media for being "too casual" for the formal event.
The daughter of President Donald Trump, Ivanka received a lot of backlash on social media for her outfit that she wore to the state banquet on Monday, June 3. The Carolina Herrera gown was deemed "inappropriate" to wear to a royal event. Clearly, Ivanka has listened to the criticism and took her Winfield House event outfit to a whole new level on Tuesday, June 4.
The 37-year-old Ivanka was seen wearing an off-shoulder white gown at the event and received a lot of positive comments and praise for it. The mother-of-three had her hair styled in an elegant and stylish bun and chose to wear minimal makeup as she attended the dinner with her father, the Prince of Wales, and the Duchess of Cornwall at the US ambassador to the UK's residence.
She also sported a pair of satin pumps from Jimmy Choo decorated with crystals. The shoes are estimated to cost around $857 (£675). She accessorized the look with a pair of earrings, a sparkling brooch, and a silver clutch bag.
Fans and followers took to social media to comment on Ivanka's latest outfit. One fan wrote, "You look stunning," in a picture of Ivanka posing alongside her brothers and the royal couple. Another fan added, "Love the gown. Stunning." It was just a day before that social media erupted with negative comments over her "shirt dress" with fans saying things like, "Normally I love how you dress Ivanka, but for such a formal white tie event, your dress looks surprisingly way too casual."
Earlier on in the day, Ivanka was seen sporting a chic Burberry pussy-bow printed silk chiffon blouse which featured sheer sleeves and bold oversized cuffs which cost around £850 (£1,077) while meeting Theresa May at the St. James Palace. She also wore a monochrome knee-length crepe de chine skirt from the British fashion house and finished off her look with Burberry tape detail heeled leather pumps.
