Ivanka Trump shares sweet snaps of husband Jared Kushner and her kids enjoying Memorial Day ahead of couple's visit to London
Ivanka Trump was busy soaking up all the family time she could before heading off to London next week as she enjoyed a quality getaway with her husbands and kids for Memorial Day Weekend.
The 37-year-old and her husband Jared Kushner escaped their Washington D.C lifestyle for the long weekend, and Ivanka couldn't resist sharing a few peeks at their trip.
While on holiday with her family, Ivanka went ahead and shared pictures and videos of her kids watching fireworks, and driving around in an ATV, as well as a sweet snap of herself and her husband smiling for the camera while posing in front of a golf course, which fans believe to be the Trump resort at Mar-a-Lago.
In one of the pictures with her husband Jared, Ivanka was seen wearing a casual denim tie-dye dress, as well as a pair of chic blue pumps and aviator-style sunglasses. Jared too went quite low-key on the fashion quotient and opted for a linen button-down, a pair of navy blue pants, and some flip flops.
In one of the video clips that Ivanka shred on her Instagram stories, her two sons Joseph and Theodore could be seen driving a small ATV-style vehicle with "bad to the bone" written across the back past a line of golf carts. Another photo shows the two boys enjoying a firework display with their dad, who hoisted one of his sons onto his shoulders, while the other watched on by their side.
However, Ivanka did not share any pictures of her seven-year-old daughter Arabella, which makes it unclear whether the young one joined the rest of her family for the weekend. There was also video footage of the fireworks in the air, while Katy Perry's hit song 'Firework' played in the background.
While Ivanka spent family time with her husband and kids, her father Donald Trump and wife Melania have been on a state visit in Japan. However, even during the first couple's busy schedule, Trump did find time to tweet out solemn remembrances of the sacrifices of U.S. troops in honor of Memorial Day.
Ivanka also shared a more somber Memorial Day post, sharing a picture of several military graves, while writing: "This Memorial Day, the Nation joins to remember the patriots who gave their own lives in service of ours. As we spend this day with our loved ones, let us pay tribute to the fallen heroes who afforded us this freedom."
Ivanka's family's fun-filled getaway comes just days before the Advisor to the POTUS is due to fly to London in order to join the President and First Lady on their official state visit, along with her two brothers, Donald Jr and Eric, and her sister Tiffany.
