'It’s a lot of fun: Ryan Reynolds reveals how much he enjoyed NFL game alongside Taylor Swift amid Shawn Levy's 'depressing' remark
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Not sure about Shawn Levy, but Ryan Reynolds had a great time watching the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Jets.
The ‘Deadpool’ star, in an interview with Extra, said, “It’s a lot of fun. NFL right now is reaching a kind of fever pitch, you know, that you usually only reserved for the Super Bowl, but, you know, here we are at the fourth or fifth game of the year and it’s already happening.”
What did Ryan Reynolds say about his game night with Taylor Swift?
The actor said during the 2023 Bring Change to Mind Gala in NYC on Monday night, October 1, “I played football when I was a kid. I loved it.”
“I love watching it,” he continued, adding “I continue to, I will always watch it… It’s a great sport, but football in my mind now is what we would call soccer over here because… I can’t say ‘soccer’ when I’m in Europe in any way shape or form.”
At the game night, the 46-year-old was seen with his wife Blake Lively, Sophie Turner, Sabrina Carpenter, sister-in-law Robyn Lively, and pals Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy.
Taylor Swift is currently rumored to be dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce which is creating a lot of interest among the fans.

What did Shawn Levy say about the game?
Interestingly, Reynolds’ director from ‘Deadpool 3’ Shawn Levy, didn’t enjoy much of his time on October 1. "It’s almost depressing by the way,” the Canadian film producer told Variety earlier.
“I can make 50 more hit movies and shows and I’ll still be known as the guy in the orange suede jacket going to the Chiefs-Jets game with Taylor and others.”
Levy shared that his “very close friend" Reynolds invited him and his “closest friend Hugh" was there too. The filmmaker, was hoping for a guys night out with “the buddies.” However, he got too much publicity.
“It was as simple as, ‘Wait, we can go to an NFL game with our buddies? Let’s do it. We had a glimmer that maybe there would be others but nothing prepared us for the frenzy of attention that was that outing,” he recalled.
“Very fun night but definitely, I’ve known famous people but Taylor is definitely a culture magnet unlike anything I’ve seen,” he added.
