American metalcore band Issues have announced the ouster of vocalist Tyler Carter following sexual misconduct allegations. The sudden decision has received major attention from fans all around the globe.

The band announced on its official handles that it will be parting ways with Carter. According to the band members themselves, the charges against Carter are of grooming and sexual misconduct. The statement released by the band reads: "Recently we have become aware of allegations of Tyler Carter of grooming and sexual misconduct. We, Josh, Sky and AJ, will no longer be working with Tyler. We believe survivors."

Fans took to social media platforms to give their two cents regarding the latest unexpected development. One user wrote, "Of course this is the right move and good on the guys."

Another fan expressed sheer disbelief and said, "Proud of issues for handling this in the way that they did, coming from a tyler carter fan since i was literally 13 i am in absolute shock & disgusted."

Another fan lauded the decision taken by the band and wrote, "I’m so sad about The Tyler carter allegations. I was a huge fan. I love issues, and loved Tyler carter, but I cannot support someone who stands accused of the things he was accused of. I pray he wasn’t guilty but I have no reason to not believe the victim/victims."

Another fan wrote, "Will there be any further statements on the matter or anything from @officialtc himself? This is so devastating to find out. I admired Tyler Carter and Issues as a whole so much and im just f***ing heartbroken."

Some users empathized with the remaining members of Issues and applauded their quick stance in the matter. A Twitter user said, "If the accusations against Tyler Carter are indeed true, I feel bad for the other 3 guys and all @issues fans around the world. I hope they aren’t, but legitimate victims and achieving justice are far and away more important than a band or artist or band member’s reputation."

Tweets expressing utter shock were common. A fan wrote, "OKAY WHAT HAPPENED WITH TYLER CARTER FROM ISSUES WHAT THE HECK."

Issues have released three studio albums, the latest being 2019's 'Beautiful Oblivion'. Known for covering Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend', Issues have been an important band in the alternative music scene for years. Now, with Carter's sudden firing, the band's future is uncertain as it was Carter who handled both clean and unclean vocals for the band.

Carter is yet to publicly address the matter.
