LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Felix "xQc" has made waves in the streaming community after recently announcing his $100 million deal with Kick. This news has been met with an outpouring of congratulation messages, admiration, and support from fans and fellow Twitch streamers. Many in the streaming community, including HasanAbi and DrDisRespect, have expressed their admiration for Felix's decision to diversify and branch out on a new platform.

The Canadian streamer said no one at the Amazon-owned firm was upset with him for joining a competing platform while revealing the announcement's trailer during a Twitch Live. However, fans were understandably curious about how this decision would affect xQc's streaming schedule. Is xQc leaving the purple platform? Let us dive deeper into this:

Is xQc leaving Twitch for Kick?

There was a great deal of discussion on social media following the news that one of Twitch's top streamers xQc had left the platform for Kick. Thankfully, the streamer reassured fans that he was not leaving Twitch and planned to split his streaming time between both platforms in a non-exclusive deal. xQc emphasized that there were no set hours at this time and that he would be playing it by ear.

"Um, yeah I am not leaving Twitch. I don't think you understand. I want to say this, in the best way that I can put it. I am not like, leaving. No one is leaving." He then explained further, saying, "I get it, some people would like to sign exclusively and might go entirely. That is not how it is going to be [for me]. Also, the hours are not really set. It's just kind of random. I will just play it by the ear."

‘Guys, nobody's upset’

During a recent Twitch stream, Felix revealed the trailer for the announcement and assured his viewers that nobody at Twitch was upset about his decision to sign with a rival platform. In fact, he claimed that Twitch CEO Dan Clancy was happy for him and that there were no hard feelings.

xQc also shared how he talked to Dan Clancy, telling the Twitch CEO that he was just "diversifying" and that there were no bad feelings. "I literally spoke to Dan yesterday, quite literally. And I was like, 'Bro, we're chilling. I'm not like upset with you guys. Nobody's malding, I'm just diversifying, and that this is just how it's going to be."
