LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Jenner's ex-partner Travis Scott has been making headlines following the release of his new album, 'Utopia'. Scott and Jenner, who share two children, reportedly called it quits on their on-and-off relationship this year, after dating since 2017. In April, rumors circulated about Jenner's alleged involvement with actor Timothee Chalamet, with sources suggesting they were keeping things casual at the time.

In his latest song titled 'Meltdown,' the 32-year-old rapper includes lyrics like "Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs (Vs), got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs) / Burn a athlete like it’s calories, find another flame hot as me, b*tch." These lyrics appear to be a subtle jab at Jenner's rumored flame, Chalamet, indicating a possible hint of rivalry or underlying tensions in the song's message.

Is Travis Scott's new song about Kylie Jenner's rumored romance?

The term "AP" is a reference to Audemars Piguet's luxury watches, possibly implying that he's flaunting his wealth and success. Additionally, the mention of the Willy Wonka factory may be a playful jab at Chalamet, who portrays the famous fictional chocolatier in the upcoming 'Wonka' film, per Genius

Scott's album 'Utopia' has been in development for a few years, with its title first revealed in 2020. However, various factors like the pandemic seemingly delayed its release. In May 2021, it was reported that Chalamet had been cast in the title role of a prequel to Willy Wonka's adventures, which could have influenced the reference in Scott's song. Around the same time, Scott and Jenner, who have had an on-again/off-again relationship, were in an "on" period following the birth of their second child, Aire, in February 2022. However, by the end of that year, they had parted ways again.

Meanwhile, fans believe that Scott's lyrics, which could be interpreted as a diss towards Chalamet, are unnecessary and uncalled for. One user wrote on Twitter, "This is so corny, imagine getting worked up by Timothee chalamet lmfaoooo," while another said, "Travis scott and chalamet beefing wasn’t on my 2023 card." A third questioned, "Is it a diss, or did he simply state the fact that Timothee is starring in Willy Wonka? The disses are getting lazy," while a fourth defended Chalamet, saying, "Last time i checked, timothee was in an oscar nominated movie, not involved with a concert that killed his fans. so. i don’t think travis should be throwing stones at someone with talent." Another mocked Scott, saying, "I wish I had the self-esteem that Travis has when comparing himself to Timotheé. Bruh!" "Never in my life would I’ve thought to witness travis scott dissing timothee chalamet," said one, while another asked, "In what world is travis scott who can’t even take a pic without hiding his face more attractive than timothee chalamet?"
