LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ana Navarro's Instagram makes two things very clear: her love for her dog, ChaCha, and adoration for her husband, Al Cardenas. Despite the significant age gap between them, they have both been happily married since 2019 and reside in Miami, Florida. Navarro frequently travels to New York for ‘The View’, but for her, home is ChaCha, Cardenas and Miami.

Navarro and Cardenas may come off as an unlikely couple, but a glance into their relationship will tell you otherwise. Although Navarro mostly talks about politics on social media, there are occasional posts with Cardenas, especially when they go on vacations.

What is the age difference between Ana Navarro and Al Cardenas?

Cardenas turned 75 this year, making him 24 years older than his wife, Navarro. He is a Cuban-American lawyer, who is also a politician, active in the Republican Party for most of his career. On March 2, 2019, Cardenas and Navarro tied the knot in Miami. The couple had a picturesque wedding in Miami Beach, Florida.

After her wedding, Navarro told People Magazine, "He treats me like I’m a princess, he treats me with so much love and respect… I like everything about him.” As of now, they do not have any children together, but to them, home is their dog ChaCha and their life in Miami, which they treasure the most. While their age is not a barrier, could it be politics?

Ana Navarro, Al Cardenas and politics

It is no secret that Navarro is heavily invested in politics, and the same goes for Cardenas. This could also mean having different viewpoints. Cardenas told Aventura Magazine, “Now that we live under the same roof and have been in love for a long time, I’m not going to get into a spiff with my wife over politics that’ll ruin our marriage. We might disagree, but it’s not a huge deal.” According to the magazine, in Miami, they choose not to discuss politics. When asked about her home in Miami, Navarro said, “Miami is home, for both of us, it’s such a special treat to be home and sleep in our beds and play with our dog. When we are together with our 5-pound poodle, ChaCha, it’s okay because we’re home.” Navarro and Cardenas both travel often but have made their marriage work efficiently.
