Social media sleuths observed that Dunne was in Bradenton, Florida, where the Pirates conducted their spring training, and she was seen wearing Pirates' merchandise, including a hat. Additionally, in one of her photos, she had a baseball glove similar to the one used by Skenes.

The same user also posted another tweet saying, "I was hearing rumors about this a month ago and even with the Pirates sending her a box the other day. The glove on the table confirms it for me." 

Further fueling the speculation, Dunne was reportedly present in Omaha, Nebraska, during the College World Series when LSU claimed the national championship by defeating Florida in June. Notably, both Skenes and Dylan Crews were part of the LSU team during the series and were later selected in the MLB draft just weeks later, as per Marca. 

During the College World Series, Dunne dropped a hint on TikTok, referencing a "hidden man" who was her new love interest and with whom she couldn't interact face-to-face. Coincidentally, at the same time, Skenes was pitching in Omaha during the College World Series, leading LSU fans to connect the dots and speculate that he might be the "hidden man" she mentioned, as per Sportskeeda.
