LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Good Morning America' star Michael Strahan’s recent string of absences from the studio desk has left many fans concerned. The 51-year-old was either found promoting his clothing and wellness brand or sharing clips of his other hosting gig, ‘The $100,000 Pyramid’, on his social media platforms. But it turns out Michael had been sidelining ‘GMA’ for another crucial event which is now revealed to be the Hungarian Grand Prix
The ‘GMA’ host was present in Mogyoród at the Hungaroring to witness the Formula One event and took out some time to snap a short clip of the McLaren team participating in the event. However, Michael was overwhelmed by the scenes at the racetrack and offered to switch places with F1 driver Lando Norris for McLaren, signaling that it will be a dream come true.

The former NFL player has been absent from the studio desk at ‘GMA’ for nearly two weeks, with fans continuously hounding the comments section for his whereabouts. But Michael didn’t offer any explanation or comment regarding his absence and instead continued to update his social media about his brand and ‘The $100,000 Pyramid.’ And now his recent clip at the Hungarian Grand Prix expressing his desire of being a Formula One driver has left many concerned about his future at ‘GMA.’

Michael shared a video from the Hungarian Grand Prix where he recorded McLaren driver Landon Norris suiting up and hopping in his car. He also captured a celebratory moment at the end of the race and captioned the clip, “What a great time at the Hungarian Grand Prix with @mclaren @f1. If @landonnorris needs me to fill in I'd happily accept but unfortunately, I don't think I'll fit in the car.” His excitement to take over the cockpit of the F1 car was through the roof and it seemed like Michael would soon announce his new career as a Formula One driver.

Michael Strahan and Terry Crew reunite at the Hungarian Grand Prix
In another post from the Hungarian Grand Prix, Michael shared a photo of himself and Terry Crews enjoying the event. He captioned that snap, “All smiles when you're at @f1 with this amazing crew. And ran into my brotha, @terrycrews!!!!” Fans were ecstatic to see their two favorite public figures together.
