The YouTube star's fans were astounded by the news, as his younger brother, Jake, revealed that he never expected Paul to ever get engaged.
In a recent episode of 'BS w/ Jake Paul', Jake opened up about his brother's engagement and shared his surprise at the news. "That's f**king crazy," he said, adding, "I never thought Logan would get engaged. He was like, hopeless." Despite his initial disbelief, Jake expressed his happiness for Paul and congratulated the couple on their engagement. He described them as an amazing couple who were perfect for each other. Jake was in awe of the fact that Paul, who had been pessimistic about love for so long, had found true love so quickly.
'Congratulations, Logan'
When asked why he believed his brother would never get married, Jake reveals that both he and Paul have had negative experiences with dating due to their fame in the online world. He shared his own doubts about ever finding the right person and explained how difficult it was to navigate relationships when you are constantly in the public eye. Jake said, “I felt the same way for a while, like there’s no one out here, this is all terrible. And then you find someone and they’ve f****d rapper ‘x’ NBA player ‘y,’ and then it’s like, I can’t do that. It’s a cold world. You announce that you’re dating one of us, and it’s a million people that hate you overnight.”
Continuing to congratulate Paul, Jake said, “I love to see you happy man. You guys are an amazing couple, very perfect fit for each other, and there’s just happiness when you two walk into the room. It’s just cute because I never thought it would happen."
“I never thought I would see hopeless romantic Logan Paul, who was just pessimistic about love for so long, find love, true love, as fast as it happened. It seems really really fast, it seems really perfect and really right, so it’s amazing.; Congratulations, Logan,” Jake added.
'Alissa f**ked my brother'

One of the craziest episodes from Jake's life in 2017 was his split from Alissa Violet, a Team 10 member he had dated for several years. In February 2017, he accused her of having an affair with a "very close" family member. Jake took to Twitter to accuse Alissa of cheating on him with his brother in a now-deleted tweet. He wrote, “Yeah… and this time Im not being silent… Alissa f**ked my brother… that’s why I kicked her out… oopsie I just told them the truth… Im done being the 'bad guy.'"
Jake also wrote, “A lot of reasons why I didn’t talk about the situation is to defend my brother and that’s why. Alissa and I always really liked each other. We were always like dating, not really. It was a rocky relationship. I wasn’t at the time mature enough to know how to be a boyfriend. We would get into arguments and be fighting and go through ups and downs."
