However, the opposite seems to be happening in the case of Kourtney Kardashian's pregnancy. Kourtney's mother, Kris Jenner, seems to be doing only the "bare minimum" on her daughter's pregnancy.
On Friday night, 'The Kardashians' star, Kourtney, announced that she was expecting a baby with her husband Travis Barker at a Blink-182 concert, the band for which Barker is the drummer. At the concert, Kris was seen waving a banner saying, "Travis I'm pregnant." On the occasion, Kris chose to do nothing other than post a few hearts in response to Barker and Kourtney's video of the announcement. The internet slammed Kris for doing the "bare minimum" on her daughter's pregnancy news as she did not write a message for her daughter on the occasion.

After Kourtney's pregnancy announcement, Kris took to social media to share the video Kourtney posted of her holding the banner that announces her pregnancy. She chose to repost this on her story, instead of as a post. Moreover, instead of writing big paragraphs about her daughter or her special moment as she had publicly been talking about the difficulties she faced getting pregnant, Kris chose only to upload the video with a handful of red-heart emojis. After a few hours, she added another Instagram story, re-sharing Kourtney's latest post showing off her pregnant belly. Mentioning her daughter and son-in-law, Kris claimed, "Congratulations you two!!!!!! I love you so much!!!!!" Seeing this an internet user posted the screenshot in the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Reddit group, saying, "Kris finally did the bare minimum." The user captioned the screenshot, saying, "No kind words or well wishes and 24hrs after everyone else has commented... she couldn't have half a**ed this more if she tried."

Internet speculated that Kris not posting a long heartfelt message could mean that she is mad at Kourtney.
