'It’s embarrassing at this point': Katy vs Nutsa saga on 'American Idol' makes the Internet cringe
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' is back for another season on ABC and there is a first time for everything on 'Idol'. Katy Perry received her first 'boo' from the audience during her 'American Idol' judging tenure after giving constructive feedback to Nutsa.
Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie are narrowing down whom America will eventually vote for to become the next singing phenomenon. Ryan Seacrest hosts the reality TV competition series for the sixth season on ABC and the 21st overall. The Top 26 from Hollywood Week went to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii, on April 17 episode. Noah Cyrus, the Grammy-nominated pop musician, coached the aspirants competing for America's first open vote of the season.

Katy gets booed for the first time
Nutsa performed "Paris (Ooh La La)" by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, at the major show. Nutsa stated that this song means a lot to her because she has been playing it since she was 13 years old. Noah, on the other hand, informs the singer that instead of dancing about, she should try to stand still - and Nutsa didn't seem pleased.
Though the girl from Georgia wowed the judges with a powerful performance, Katy advised her to try a less flamboyant performance next time. "Every time you take the stage, it’s like you glitter bomb the stage," Katy said. "Listen, I think that one thing that I personally would like to see from you is not one piece of glitter the next time. I know that’s gonna be hard."
The audience clearly liked the glitter, as they booed Katy after her response. Luke Bryan loved the fact that Katy was receiving criticism from the audience for the first time. "OK, first time in six seasons, woo-hoo!" Katy said.
'Katy perry is so blatantly jealous of Nutsa'
Criticizing Nutsa's performance, a viewer tweeted, "Nutsa is trying to be gracious and humble now after Katy told her to get some grace. Forget the glitter, can she sing anything softly and with emotion? Everything is the karaoke belting out version." Another chimed in saying, "Nutsa not fooling Katy. Or many of us." Fans also intepreted Katy's reaction as, "I think Katy was really wanting to say we don't want to see Nutsa again." One said, "Katy perry is so blatantly jealous of Nutsa it’s embarrassing at this point."

Why does she need to dress like this every week?" One shocked fan wrote, "No glitter next time? I feel like that’s rich coming from Katy."
