LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx, who recently made his first public appearance since his hospitalization, was seen enjoying a boat ride down the Chicago River, leading to speculation among netizens about whether it was actually him or a body double. TMZ shared a video of the Oscar-winning actor on the boat, while Jamie Foxx himself tweeted about his "blessed" day on July 10.

Foxx's recent boat ride follows a medical complication he experienced while working on the Netflix film 'Back in Action' alongside Cameron Diaz, which led to his hospitalization in April. The incident required a prolonged hospital stay and subsequent attendance at a physical rehab center for the Hollywood star.

'It was either doctored film or a body double'

Despite video evidence, conspiracy theorists persist in expressing their dissatisfaction, claiming that the person featured in the photos is actually Foxx's body double and not the actor himself. One person wrote on Twitter, "As soon as I saw that video of Jamie Foxx yesterday, my first thought was (moving the goal post) how long it would take the Q morons to claim that it was either doctored film or a body double. I guess less than 24 hours. These people really need to get a life." Another commented, "So TMZ never caught Jamie Foxx coming out the hospital, playing pickleball, but we supposed to accept this n***a who’s an international icon who suffered a major medical condition just riding boats and waving like the queen of England w/o explanation?" A third wrote, "So am I the only one who thinks this is his stunt double? The man was in rehab which would indicate that he possibly has motor skill issues & he shows up on a rockin boat."

'That’s not Jamie Foxx'

A user questioned, "Is it him?? Or is it a stunt double?? Trying to cover up something?? Did the vaccine do it’s job?? I hope it didn’t. I hope he’s fine. But this seems staged." Another wrote, "That’s not Jamie Foxx, he is too dark. His skin is light black not dark." "It doesn’t look like him, the video isn’t clear. Until he makes a video or something saying he’s okay, I won’t believe it. Whatever happened to him so have been real bad," wrote a third
