Is Jaclyn Lee quitting 'GMA'? Morning show host Robin Roberts worries that her co-host will soon 'go missing'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Good Morning America’ host Jaclyn Lee seems to be moving away from her role as the morning show host. Lee who joined ABC News in 2023 revealed that she has an offer from a famous musician who would love to have her as a singer next to him. When ‘GMA’ host Robin Roberts learned of Lee’s situation, she couldn’t help but state that Lee might soon “go missing” from the studio.
Lee was covering the CMA Music Festival in Nashville Tennessee hosted by the Country Music Association every year and recently sat down with Robin to give her insights about her time at the festival. Lee ecstatically shared details about the festival and revealed that country music singer Luke Combs has offered her a chance to sing with him.
Is Jaclyn Lee leaving ‘GMA’ for a new career?
During Tuesday’s broadcast of the morning show, Robin took some time out to sit down with Lee in a small segment that focused on the CMA Music Festival. The fest featured artists like Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Elle King, and many more who enthralled the audiences with their hit songs. Robin allowed Lee to share her experience of covering this huge event that has stood the test of time for 50 years.
“Jaclyn Lee got to sit down with some of our favorite artists ahead of the big event. Was it fun?” Robin asked her co-host Jaclyn who was seated next to her. Lee replied, "Oh my gosh, Robin, I had the time of my life at CMA Fest. What made it so special is that we had so much access behind the scenes at such an iconic festival to see how the sauce is made, what it means for country music, to the artists, to Nashville, it was something special.” However, what stood out for Lee was an invitation from country singer Luke Combs, who offered her the chance to sing with him. She stated, "Luke Combs did offer to let me open for his show in Europe." She stated that she might have a new career waiting for her. The 62-year-old ‘GMA’ host, who was listening intently, couldn’t help but exclaim, “In case you go missing, we know where you are,” suggesting to the viewers that Lee might have already chosen her next career move.
