NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Hoda Kotb was nowhere to be found on Wednesday, September 13 episode after she shared cryptic posts on her Instagram.
It is unknown why she was absent and when she will be back on the ‘Today’ show.
Kotb took to her Instagram to share a snap that featured "5 life-changing mindset shifts."
She also wished “Happy Wednesday xo” to her followers in her caption.
Although Kotb was a consistent presence on ‘Today’ show, her abrupt absence sparked concerns as she also posted worrying quotes on her Instagram.
Meanwhile, Kotb left the morning show midway through last week due to a family emergency as she dropped off her kids on their first day at school.

Hoda Kotb shares cryptic posts
On Instagram, Hoda Kotb has been sharing some cryptic posts related to life and hinted at some unspoken concerns.
Kotb suddenly went missing from ‘Today’ on Wednesday, September 13 and her co-hosts didn’t reveal any reason for her whereabouts.
It is assumed given the health concerns of her 4-year-old daughter Hope, that something might have come up.
She revealed in March about Hope’s health scare, fortunately, she recovered.
Kotb told ‘Today’ viewers, “My youngest daughter Hope was in the ICU for a few days and in the hospital for a little more than a week and I'm so grateful she's home.”
It is also not known when will the 59-year-old journalist return to the morning show.

What was Hoda Kotb’s NSFW question?
Earlier last week, Hoda Kotb interviewed actor Christopher Meloni alongside co-host Jenna Bush Hager.
However, Kotb’s NSFW question for Meloni left Hager red-faced.
“You're known for your super sexy commercials that you like to do," Kotb said to Meloni.
"We discusssed it," Jenna added.
The two ladies pointed to a Peloton commercial where Meloni is seen working out naked in his home.
"Is that real?" curious Kotb asked.
"What part of real are you hoping to hear?" Meloni replied laughingly as he reflected on the moments about his nudity in the commercial.
Kotb went on and asked, “Are you a naked person?"
Hager suddenly chimed in as she screamed out of her breath "Wow!" to Kotb’s question.
"Some people are naked around their house, they’re just comfortable being naked. Are you?"
Meloni simply replied, "No."
He also added that he doesn't actually work out naked.
He said because he wanted to tease the ladies and spice up his interviews after giving repeated answers.
"So you don't really work out naked?" Hager asked.
Meloni replied, “No”, and the pair revealed they were just "little disappointed."
