Is Cher's son OK? Singer worried about Chaz Bono as his health leaves family and friends concerned
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Legendary singer Cher is reportedly concerned about her son Chaz Bono's health after the latter gained a considerable amount of weight, Radar Online reported.
"Chaz has always been a heavy guy, but this summer, he's gained at least 30 pounds," an insider allegedly claimed while speaking to the outlet.
"It's a classic case of him gorging on carbs and snacks and being unwilling to exercise," the source told Radar Online.
Insider claims Cher cannot speak to Chaz about his weight gain
As per a new report, recent photos of Chaz from his visit to a Los Angeles-based chiropractor allegedly showed his recent physique and sparked concerns among friends and family, Radar Online said.
However, despite being closer to her son than ever, Cher allegedly cannot speak to her son about his sudden weight gain. "When Cher, or anyone else, tries to bring it up, Chaz gets super defensive," an insider told the publication.
When asked if Chaz's health concerns are impacting his relationship with his mother, a source told the outlet, "Ridiculous on all counts. Cher has a loving supportive relationship with her son Chaz."
The news website suggested that the health concern is also having an effect on Chaz's romance with his girlfriend, Shara Blue."He isn't feeling good on any level," the insider alleged.
"And, of course, that comes out at home," they continued, adding, "Shara is trying to be supportive."

Cher and her son Chaz working on new horror film 'Little Bites'
As per Radar Online, Cher and Chaz have reportedly come together to serve as the executive producers of the new horror film 'Little Bites,' which started production in June.
Chaz is also reportedly set to star in a film, taking a dual role as an actor and executive producer, similar to his responsibility in 'Bury the Bride,' which he executive produced and also appeared in.
Insiders alleged that the stress from work alongside the "craft service table" made it easy for Chaz to overeat.
Despite the health challenge, the 54-year-old, who previously underwent female to male transition, is extremely happy about his new work.
"I'm so excited to be working on my second film with OneFox Productions and to be working with my mom Cher is an extra bonus," Chaz reportedly told The Hollywood Reporter while speaking about his latest horror venture.
