If rumors are to be believed, fans will be able to see the 'Avengers: Doomsday' trailer much sooner than expected. Earlier, MCU fans were anticipating that the highly awaited trailer would play in front of James Cameron's 'Avatar: Fire and Ash', scheduled to hit theaters on December 19. Some fans also speculated that the first teaser would be a theater-exclusive one; the first trailer for 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' itself played exclusively in theaters before 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' earlier this year. Now, however, several fans are speculating that the trailer might drop on Sunday, December 7, thanks to a tease by The Cosmic Circus' Alex Perez, a notable industry insider.

Perez, and a few other social media scoopers, have hinted that the 'Avengers: Doomsday' trailer will be released on December 7 at 7 pm ET, owing to a 'Fantastic Four' clip MCU has been sharing for a while. The footage shows the Marvel's First Family preparing for a family dinner. With Doctor Doom's introduction in 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' post-credit scene, many fans believe that the clip could be more than just a promotional event. Perez's post on X, too, included a screenshot of the 'Fantastic Four' family dinner clip.

Additionally, eagle-eyed fans recently noticed that ever since 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' reached theatres, Marvel Studios has been sharing the same Sunday clip on its social media channels. Even on December 1, the clip was posted on X from the official 'Fantastic Four' handle. "Sunday at 7, on the dot, no matter what," Mister Fantastic says in the clip, talking about their family dinner. Some fans speculate that the clip could indicate Doctor Doom hijacking the Fantastic Four's family dinner in the upcoming 'Avengers' movie

However, at the time of writing this article, neither Marvel Studios nor Disney had made an official statement on the release date of the trailer. In case you’re wondering, 'Avengers: Doomsday' is scheduled to release on December 18, 2026. Anthony and Joe Russo serve as the directors of the forthcoming film and the script has been written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, two renowned writers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Robert Downey Jr. is set to make his MCU comeback as Doctor Doom.
