LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Ashanti is reportedly expecting her first child with her on-and-off boyfriend Nelly. This will be the loved-up couple's first child together as they recently got back together after being separated for almost a decade.
The couple were recently spotted together at Nelly's 'Black and White Ball' in St Louis, Missouri. In the video obtained by TMZ, Ashanti was seen putting her hand on her stomach with her partner following suit.
The singer quickly cuddled her beau Nelly after the sweet moment. The couple later continued to laugh while walking off the stage.
Ashanti and Nelly are yet to confirm if the pregnancy rumours are true. However, this could be Ashanti's first child.
Meanwhile, Nelly has two children with his ex, Channetta Valentine, a daughter Chanelle, and a son Cornell Haynes III.
Are Ashanti and Nelly married?
Ashanti and Nelly are unfortunately not married. The power couple dated on and off for ten years, from 2003 to 2013.
Fans often rooted for a proposal, but in 2010 Nelly revealed he wasn't ready to get married. However, the couple recently got back together after they called it quits in 2013.
Ashanti's pregnancy speculation has swirled around the internet and the fans appeared to be quite disappointed with the singer and Nelly as they are yet to get married.

Ashanti and Nelly met for the first time during a 2003 Grammy Awards nomination announcement. Since then, they have been together in an on-and-off relationship.
Ashanti recalled their first meeting in VH1's Behind the Music special. She said during the special, "The first time I met Nelly he asked me for my autograph, but I think he was being sarcastic and I remember writing it down on the program."
Ashanti added, "That picture has been in so many publications as something else, but it all started out as a joke. For the record, it took him a long time to get my number."

Ashanti and Nelly rekindle romance 10 years after split
After their split in 2013, Ashanti and Nelly rekindled their romance in 2023 after 10 years. The couple sparked reconciliation speculations in April after they were spotted together in Los Angeles.
However, Nelly finally confirmed their relationship during an interview with Rasheeda Frost's 'Boss Moves with Rasheeda' podcast on September 12, 2023. In an interview, the host asked the rapper if he and Ashanti were back together.
Nelly responded saying, "Yeah. We cool again." He went on to say their rekindling 'surprised' them both.
Nelly added, "I think it surprised both of us, though. It wasn't anything that was, like, planned. I think we both was pretty much doing what we do.
