NEWYORK, NEWYORK CITY: Amber Heard was reportedly seen walking using crutches in Madrid, Spain, due to a hip injury she sustained while training for the New York City Marathon scheduled for November.

Heard was seen with her sister, Whitney Henriquez, who was pushing her daughter, Oonagh Paige, who was asleep in a stroller.

Amber Heard engages with paparazzi despite hip injury

Heard was seen greeted the paparazzi and responded to inquiries about her injury.

She was wearing a black maxi dress, white linen slide sandals from Chloe, hoop earrings, an Apple watch with a gold band, and multiple necklaces.

She was spotted two weeks after Australia decided to drop a case against her regarding the illegal importation of her dogs in 2015.

Earlier in 2023, Heard moved to Spain after her widely-publicized defamation trial with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

A friend reportedly said, "She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise."

What happened to Amber Heard's acting career?

In July 2022, she sold her California home. She has not been seen working since 'Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom' was filmed in 2021 and the thriller 'Into the Fire'.

Heard's daughter was born before her defamation trial.

The trial ended in December 2022 with Depp being awarded $1M from Heard's insurance company. In response, Heard expressed her disillusionment with the American legal system.

Heard and Depp were married from 2015 to 2017. She accused him of abuse physical abuse, allegations the actor denied.

In 2018, Heard authored an op-ed for The Washington Post, detailing how speaking out about the alleged abuse negatively impacted her career.

In May, the Daily Mail reported that Heard had "quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain" with her daughter.

Sources said, '‘I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right for the right project."
