HGTV star Jonathan Scott celebrates 4th anniversary with GF Zooey Deschanel, fans say 'marry her already'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel are enjoying their fourth year together. However, the couple's fans are now pleading with them to advance in their relationship.
The two met on James Corden's 'Carpool Karaoke' in August 2019 when recording an episode with Jonathan's twin brother and HGTV costar, Drew Scott, and Zooey's elder sister, 'Bones' star Emily Deschanel. After finishing the episode, the gang decided to continue the karaoke fun and hang out even longer. Jonathan and Zooey hit it off right away, and the two continued messaging every day after that. While they were reportedly seen holding hands on a dinner date in September 2019, the pair didn't go public with their romance until later that month, when they shared a kiss on camera during live filming of 'Dancing With The Stars'.

'4 years really flies by'
Jonathan sent a sweet message to his girlfriend on Instagram on Friday, August 4, in honor of their four-year anniversary. "500 days of @zooeydeschanel …actually it’s been a lot more, but who’s counting anyway? 😆," Jonathan captioned a snapshot of the two of them together. "4 years really flies by. Happy anniversary baby!!! 🥰"
Zooey also expressed her affection for her partner on Instagram. "4 years since I met this freaking dreamboat. I love him more every day," Zooey said, with a photo of herself and Jonathan. "I'm forever grateful!"
In June 2020, the pair took their romance to the next level by acquiring their five-bedroom "dream home" in Los Angeles. The huge property acts as a basis for the couple and Zooey's two children, son Charlie and daughter Elsie, whom she shares with ex-Jacob Pechenik. The couple revealed their freshly remodeled house in a June cover story for the brothers' magazine, 'Drew + Jonathan Reveal', after two years of renovations. Jonathan called the 1938 Georgian mansion "a beautiful home with a lot of history."
"This is a house that suits our tastes and needs, aesthetically and functionally," Zooey added. "Jonathan is so amazing at figuring that out. He's been doing it for his clients for so long, and now he's done that for us and our family."
