BAXLEY, GEORGIA: A former MAGA candidate, Kandiss Taylor, has gone against Taylor Swift, accusing the 'You Belong with Me' singer of practicing witchcraft.

Tagging the singer in X, Taylor asked Swift if she just praised her fans for making videos with her music and "casting spells."

She blamed the singer for "celebrating witchcraft" and showing "satanic nodes" during her Eras Tour concerts

Who is Kandiss Taylor

Taylor is a conservative commentator host of the 'Jesus, Guns, and Babies' show. She has also competed in the elections for US Senate in 2020.

Born in Baxley, Georgia, Taylor is married and mother of three.

A Ph.D holder in Counseling and Supervision from Regent University, Kandiss stood for the 2022 Georgia governor elections as a candidate of Make America Great Again (MAGA).

What did Kandiss Taylor say about Taylor Swift?

Taylor, in her post on X, accused the pop star of promoting the works of Satan. She wrote it to react to Swift's tweet on X about The Eras Tour Concert Film.

In the tweet, she slammed Swift for pushing her fans into witchcraft.

Kandiss wrote in a post, "What is wrong with you? I was a fan from day one and loved how much you grew in your singing ability. I love that you write your own music. My daughter has grown up dancing with me to your songs, singing to the top of our lungs, and attending your concerts,"

"I have heard from others who attended this last tour that you had some satanic nods in your show. I didn't want to believe it," said the failed gubernatorial candidate.

Taylor further accused Swift of drifting away from her Christian values and love for Jesus.

She also blamed the singer for "influencing innocent minds to be enticed with the dark side of spirituality."

Swifties are criticizing and trolling Taylor Swift for accusing the pop icon of promoting witchcraft. Netizens have pointed out what they perceive as hypocrisy in Taylor's comments on Swift.

A user said, "Hopefully, she turns the haters into frogs."

"Somehow, someone preaching the bible who has 'Host of Jesus, Guns, & Babies' in their bio is rather hypocritical. In 2021, 54% of all gun-related deaths in the US were suicides (26,328), while 43% were homicides (20,958) [CDC]," said a second user.

A user tweeted, "It's not Taylor's responsibility to lead or keep your child on the path of Christianity. Do better."

"Before you burn her albums ... I'd be willing to take them off your hands," said a Swiftie.

Another user, criticizing Taylor's judgy nature, stated, "Judgey little thing, isn't she? I guess that makes Harry Potter and Gandalf the Grey Witches. You know, we went trick or treating every year in the 1950s, saw every scary movie, and I was surrounded by Voodoo shops in the quarter. To date, I've never been to a witches' convention, but it sounds interesting."
