'She said more than she should': Internet thinks Brian Walshe had motive to kill wife Ana
COHASSET, MASSACHUSETTS: As police continue to investigate the disappearance of real estate executive Ana Walshe, netizens have come up with a slew of bizarre theories to explain why her husband Brian allegedly killed the mom of three. It should be noted that the search for Ana is still on, and information about whether she is alive or dead has not been confirmed.
Ana's husband Brian Walshe, 47, has been arrested for misleading investigators probing the 39-year-old real estate investment manager's disappearance. Ana was reportedly last seen in the early hours of January 1 at her family’s rental home on Chief Justice Cushing Highway in Cohasset. However, her disappearance wasn't reported to the police until January 4.

Several details pertaining to Brian Walshe have come out since his arrest, including how he reportedly googled "how to dispose of a body." Netizens have been speculating about the possibility that the 39-year-old was murdered by her husband, who is believed to be a known fraudster. In a recent subreddit, a user who posts on the handle rondelpotro started a thread, posing the question: "What do you think triggered Brian?"
Redditor work_boner replied that Ana was Brian's "cash cow" and was triggered at the prospect of her leaving. "She was probably about to leave him, and he seemingly has no real world value in his own eyes. I believe she was his “cash cow” as it sounds like she was pretty successful in DC. Seeing as he had a pathological obsession with money, clear sociopathic tendencies, and the gravy train coming to an end, he saw no further use for her," the user wrote.
Echoing a similar sentiment, another user, who goes by the name SaltMarsh666, claimed that Ana was "clearly about to leave" Brian. "He’s a sociopath that was under a lot of heat...They probably has some cocktails and he snapped. Pent up rage," the Redditor wrote. Redditor rondelpotro, who posed the question, concurred, "The only thing that puzzles me is why he did it THAT day. Everything was supposedly ok until the guest left at 1:00 am. I am thinking that Gem inadvertently said something and revealed a secret that Ana had tried to conceal, and that triggered the monster." Meanwhile, implying the murder was unplanned, another user suggested Ana might have said something that triggered a violent reaction from Brian.
