COHASSET, MASSACHUSETTS: The search for Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old real estate investment manager and mother of three young boys who was last seen at her home on New Year’s Day, still continues. Amid the search, friends of the missing mother said, “everyday looks dim and dark.” Natasha Sky and Pamela Bardhi, previously told that they “do not want a potential split up" as authorities prepare to shift the children from the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families to foster care. The friends also added that Ana's husband, Brian Walshe, did not take personal photos during New Year’s Eve. "He took pictures of everybody else but not himself," said Ana's friend Natasha.

In an interview, when they were asked, "What do you know about Brian?" They said, "Unfortunately not much because every time when we would have a conversation about Brian, it would be switched to children or brushed off." Natasha said, "If I said, if there was anything, she said, ‘Everything is fine.’" She added by saying, "He took pictures of everybody else but not himself. There must be some reason. I don’t want to speculate it, but it was odd," as per Fox News.

'Leaving an abuser is rarely easy': Internet slams trolls asking why missing Ana Walshe married Brian

Describing if they believe Ana is alive or not, they said, “One in a million chances. Ana is driven and how she is independent, she would find a way to reach out to people if something would happen to her. With the evidence, the police reports, every day looks dim and darker."

However, one of many users wrote under the video interview, "She might be missing but she is gone." On the other hand, some were quick to divert the blame on the husband, Brian, the prime suspect, who reported Ana missing on January 4, and who is now under investigation for misleading authorities after being arrested on January 8. One said, "It’s up to the husband to be truthful but he’s hiding all the facts." Another said, "Why on earth would you need so much cleaning product," pointing to the reports of Brian buying $450 worth of cleansing products like taps, mops, buckets, cloths, and various kinds of tapes.

One more stressed, "Truth is in the middle somewhere. From what I see, that marriage was SO fishy. On the other hand, one wrote, “Once again everyone failed. They failed Ana and now that it's too late to act they all talk about ALL the problems between her and her husband. Maybe if her friends/family knew something wasn't right then they should have ACTUALLY done something about it sooner. "

Meanwhile, Brian is being held on a $500,000 bond. He appeared in Quincy District Court on January 9 and will appear again in court in early February, as MEAWW previously reported.

If anyone has seen Ana Walshe or has any information regarding her whereabouts, they are urged to contact the Cohasset Police Department, Detective Harrison Schmidt, at 781-383-1055 x6108 or email hschmidt@cohassetpolice.com.
