'Twitter Files' Part 4 reveals changed policy to ban Donald Trump ALONE, internet labels the act as 'UNFAIR'
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: The fourth installment in the ongoing ‘Twitter Files’ series of bombshell revelations got published on Saturday night, December 10. Independent author Michael Shellenberger, who publishes his writings on Substack, dropped the details of how the company executives built their case for permanently banning former President Donald Trump from the platform on January 7, 2021, a day after the US Capitol Hill riot.
Shellenberger wrote, "On Jan 7, senior executives: create[d] justifications to ban Trump ... [sought] a change of policy for Trump alone, distinct from other political leaders" and express[ed] no concern for the free speech or democracy implications of a ban." Trump was subsequently banned from the platform the following day due to what Twitter said via their blog, "After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence."

Following the release of the details, Twitterati was quick to bash with one of many asking,"Wow, what happened the day before Michael?" One wrote, "This is the literal definition of cringe." Another said, "When you emote 'create justifications,' can you see that others might say 'recognise justifications?'" Another questioned, "Sorry what were the ‘democracy implications’ of banning someone who was trying to overthrow democracy?"
When you emote "create justifications", can you see that others might say "recognise justifications"?

Mehdi Hasan, the host of 'Mehdi Hasan Show', tweeted, "So 2 out of the 4 parts of the so-called ‘Twitter Files’ are focused on Twitter having been supposedly mean or unfair to Donald Trump, at a time when Trump was using Twitter to incite actual real-world violence. Musk, Weiss, Taibbi, & co are really making this about Trump. Lol."

The details revealed in part four comes after the release of part three of the internal files on December 9 by journalist Matt Taibbi, which detailed Twitter’s activities from before the 2020 election up to the chaotic breach of the US Capitol, as previously reported by MEAWW.
