However, the viewers have recently noticed a cringeworthy moment from Tammy and Caleb's wedding episode. Amy Slaton's half-sister Amanda Halterman gave a lap dance to one of Tammy's wedding guests. Amanda was one of the fan's favorite stars on the TLC show but the viewers now dubbed her later behavior 'disgusted.'

During an episode of the TLC show '1000-lb Sisters', Amanda met Tammy's friend and wedding guest, Corey, for the first time. While shaking Corey's hand, Amanda introduced herself and said, "My name is Amanda, nice to meet you." Corey replied, "I haven't met you yet." However, Amanda then admitted in the confessional, "I'm just a little nervous, anxious, to go in and start putting myself out there again."

During the wedding reception, the reality star told Corey, "Hold on I got something for you." Amanda then grabbed the married man's head and neck and proceeded to give him a lap dance in front of his wife. Corey was seemingly quite uncomfortable with Amanda's move and said, "Now that's just wrong." However, Amanda pointed at Corey's wife and stated, "I'm getting you primed and ready for her. I'm trying to turn you on for her."

'I was cringing the entire time'

Amanda might have enjoyed doing the lap dance but the viewers felt disgusted. A Reddit user started a thread while slamming Amanda for her lap dance and wrote, "I’m still bothered by Amanda giving that married man a lap dance with his wife sitting right there during the wedding." However, multiple users agreed and added, "I was enjoying Amanda so much this season and then she went and pulled that weird shit. It wasn’t even about the lap dance... it was not sexy lol but the cringe factor of thinking that was appropriate." Another TLC show viewer wrote, "I was cringing the entire time." Another critic added, "She was trash and drunk. Embarrassing TLC even showed it!" Another user said, "Totally cringe. Thank you for talking about this, it was horrible to watch." 

Inside Amanda Halterman's secret divorce

Amanda secretly finalized her divorce from her longtime husband Jason Halterman while filming the first part of Season 4. The reality star amicably separated from her ex-husband in August 2020 but the couple's divorce was finalized in August 2022. Jason, who is Michael Halterman's brother, exchanged vows with Amanda on December 30, 1998. Amanda and Jason were together for 22 years and share four sons. Amanda was granted primary custody of their kids during the divorce. Amanda and Jason's all four sons are adults now, and only the youngest was under 18 at the time of his parents' split. Jason filed for divorce against Amanda on August 16, 2022.
