LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel star Sebastian Stan who is famously known for playing the role of Bucky Barnes or the Winter Soldier, has garnered a lot of reactions from the internet this morning after news about his upcoming project broke out.

The Hollywood Reporter stated that Stan is set to portray a young Donald Trump in a movie titled, 'The Apprentice,' which will be directed by Ali Abbasi, who is known for his movie, 'The Holy Spider.'

Stan’s fans and several others have taken over X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their shock over the Marvel actor’s upcoming role as the former President, who is currently in-between legal battles ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Sebastian Stan set to star in ‘The Apprentice’

According to the aforementioned report by The Hollywood Reporter, Ali Abbasi’s upcoming project, allegedly titled ‘The Apprentice’ began principal photography this week.

The film will reportedly focus on former President Donald Trump and how he built his real estate business in New York City in the 1970s and 80s.

Sebastian Stan, who will play young Trump, is joined by an array of talented actors, and so far the names Jeremy Strong and Maria Bakalova have been associated with this project.

According to Deadline, Bakalova will play the role of Ivana, Trump’s first wife.

'The Apprentice' is said to be prepared to tackle themes such as “power, corruption, and deception,” and some of the producers of this movie are Daniel Bekerman, Jacob Jarek, and Ruth Treacy.
