Internet says IShowSpeed is 'cancerous to youth' after viral video features young fan imitating YouTuber’s lewd dance move
CINCINNATI, OHIO: Renowned YouTube streamer Darren Watkins, known as IShowSpeed, held his inaugural live stream in an IRL (In Real Life) setting on November 5, 2023, in Manchester.
A large crowd of fans gathered to see this special event. As expected, the streamer interacted with many of his supporters, including a young boy who unexpectedly imitated the YouTuber's inappropriate but signature dance move that mimicks the act of fellatio.
This particular video clip quickly went viral. Recently, Speed made headlines for offering $1K to a fan on a livestream to buy a PS5, earning him praise and admiration from the Internet.
However, this recent video elicited a completely different response, with many accusing Speed of negatively influencing the younger generation instead.

IShowSpeed's recent in-person livestream from his desktop was a resounding success, attracting thousands of viewers and attendees alike.
At one point in the stream, a young fan eagerly volunteered to challenge the streamer to a dance-off and was promptly invited onto the stage.
The youngster, who appeared to be no more than 12 or 13 years old, confidently took the stage to imitate one of Speed's signature dance moves.
Once on stage, Speed asked the boy to show off his moves first. However, to the surprise of both those on stage and the online audience, the boy instead performed a rather inappropriate gesture, mimicking the move from Speed's 2021 single 'Shake'.
This sudden action naturally left both the streamer on stage and the online community in shock. Twitter user @fearedbuck captured this moment with a caption that read "Speed has done irreversible damage to the youth" and added a broken heart emoji at the end.
The clip also garnered various critical comments, some expressing concerns that the streamer may be having a negative impact on the current generation.

Internet says, ‘Speed is a loser for this’
IShowSpeed and his young fans' imitation of him ignited a heated online debate, with fans expressing various opinions in the comments section. One fan voiced concern for the younger generation, stating, "new generation is cooked."
Another accused YouTuber Speed of deliberate action, commenting, "Speed is a loser for this. He does it intentionally too."
