Internet roasts Lamar Odom for giving dating advice to Travis Kelce amid Taylor Swift romance: 'Will say anything to stay relevant'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former NBA player and Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband Lamar Odom has relationship advice for fellow athlete Travis Kelce who is in the midst of a very public romance with the musical maestro Taylor Swift.
Odom, who too has experience dealing with the media because of his high-profile marriage to the youngest Kardashian sister, was asked his opinion on how the Kansas City Chiefs tight ender should conduct his romance with Swift.
Odom, who has dealt with his share of controversies after being embroiled in multiple cheating scandals and substance abuse throughout his marriage with Khloe, gave pretty direct advice to the two-time Super Bowl champion.
In the interview with The Messenger, the 44-year-old former basketball power forward said, “My advice would be to be strong and stay by her and be as close to her as possible,” as per New York Post.
He continued, “There are going to be millions of women that want to taste what Taylor Swift is tasting and it can be overwhelming because we’re men. He just has to be strong and stick by his girl and he’ll be alright.”

'Drugs, that was my girlfriend'
Odom, who married Khloe Kardashian in 2009, finalized his divorce with the 39-year-old 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star after he recovered from a near-fatal overdose of drugs at a Nevada brothel in 2015. Khloe helped him on his road to recovery.
In 2022, Odom discussed his involvement in drug abuse and cheating scandals while being married to Khloe on the show, 'TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians'.
Odom said, “Drugs, that was my girlfriend,” before adding, “I had a wife … and cocaine,” per Page Six.
Adding that he had to tell Khloe about his addiction at that time, the former Los Angeles Lakers player said, “I mean, behind the scenes I put her through some s**t,” and added, “The things that y’all think y’all know is crazy. But the stories that y’all don’t know is really crazy.”
During an appearance on 'Celebrity Big Brother' in February 2022, he revealed that he wished to apologize to Khloe.
He said, “I would just probably want to take her to dinner. It will be a blessing just to be in her presence. Just to tell her I’m sorry and what a fool I was."
“She has the right to never, ever want to see me again for the things I put her through, but time moves on and people change,” Odom added.
