Internet makes chilling comparisons between Ana Walshe's case and Jennifer Dulos's kidnap and murder
COHASSET, MASSACHUSETTS: The search for Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old real estate investment manager and mother of three young boys who was last seen at her home on New Year’s Day, continues. Her husband, Brian, who reported her missing on January 4, was arrested on January 8 and is now under investigation for misleading authorities. However, internet sleuths are now comparing Walshe's case to the tragedy of Jennifer Dulos, a mother-of-five and a writer who was last seen near her Connecticut home after dropping her children off at school.
A Reddit user wrote, "This case reminds me of the Jennifer Dulos case in Connecticut, her body still hasn’t been found. Her husband was suspected of killing her. He was caught on video of disposing of trash bags all around Connecticut." The user further stated, "I was thinking why can’t they find Ana’s body if they found blood and weapons, etc. That’s when I remembered the Jennifer Dulos case. It’s so sad that for some families there’s never closure."

The disappearance of Jennifer Dulos
After Dulos was reported missing, a multi-agency search began, led by the Connecticut State Police. However, she was never found and was presumed to be dead based on evidence found. Her blood was discovered on the concrete floor, two trash cans and the passenger door of a Range Rover, per The Sun.
Her husband, Fotis, was initially charged with evidence tampering for allegedly dumping his wife's clothes but later In january 2020, he was arrested and charged with murder and kidnapping in connection with her death, per Rolling Stone. On January 30, 2020, he died at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx two days after trying to end his own life at home. The case also became a subject of a 2021 movie, 'Gone Mom: The Disappearance of Jennifer Dulos.’
However, continuing the comparison, a few called Dulos' case "heartbreaking." A person said said, "This case regarding Ana, is still very young. Let’s all sit back and give this case some time to unfold and stop trying to unfold something that is not ready to be unfolded." Another said, "I agree. Law enforcement knows WAY WAY more about what was in that house, the moms house, and the evens that occurred around NYE. Too soon to even say if there will not be a body."
