SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Tesla CEO Elon Musk is now in charge of Twitter after finally completing $68 billion acquisition of the social network platform on Thursday, October 27. However, this has led to the removal of top executives, including CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal; and the internet is unable to keep calm with many calling the move ‘f**king amazing.’

Musk had earlier claimed that the platform has fake accounts and accused the company of not giving him access to enough information to verify the number of bots on the website, as per Engadget. However, Twitter fired back by calling his claims "factually inaccurate, legally insufficient and commercially irrelevant." Later when Musk said he was terminating the deal after initially agreeing to buy the company in April, Twitter sued the billionaire, alleging he “refuses to honor his obligations to Twitter and its stockholders because the deal he signed no longer serves his personal interests,” ANI reports. The October 28 deadline was given to Musk to have the time to finance the Twitter deal

Following this, Musk walked at the Twitter headquarters earlier this week carrying a sink, and also updated his Twitter description to "Chief Twit." He tweeted a video of him and described his visit as an experience that he was trying to "sink in" as he has time until the end of the week to either close the deal or face a trial.

On October 27, Musk tweeted a post saying he was buying the company to help humanity and did not want it to become a "free-for-all hellscape". He wrote, "The reason I acquired Twitter is because it is important to the future of civilisation to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence."

'Elon Musk is absolutely gansta'

Following the takeover and the exit of CEO and CFO, many took to social media to express their opinion on it. Writer and radio host, Clay Travis, wrote, "Elon Musk has taken control of @Twitter per @wsj and immediately fired the CEO and CFO. This is going to fucking amazing." He continued the thread by saying, "He also fired the executive who decided to censor the Hunter Biden story and banned Trump. This is amazing," and added, "This is like the red wedding, Twitter version. Gonna make an incredible movie one day."

One user said, "@elonmusk Dear Elon, good move in firing Twitter's CEO and CFO. Best wishes for a successful future with Twitter!" Another user wrote, "Elon Musk is ABSOLUTELY Gangsta! So he took control and already knew exactly who he was firing! He immediately fired Twitter's CEO, the CFO, and the head of legal policy, trust, and safety. No one should ever question his GENIUS! Please remember they doubted Tesla and look NOW!" On the other hand, many expressed their fear. "As you were asleep, Elon Musk closed his Twitter deal, & fired top executives including the CEO & CFO - no surprise there though - But also, is anyone else as nervous as I am with this coming new Twitter World order under Musk?" said a user.
