Internet 'not surprised' as Diddy's alleged 'threat to hit' pregnant Kimora Lee Simmons resurfaces amid Cassie Ventura allegations
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: At the heels of the R&B singer Cassie Ventura’s bombshell lawsuit against rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accusing him of abuse, an interview alleging that Diddy once threatened to hit Kimora Lee Simmons when she was pregnant has resurfaced online.
The 2004 profile made on Simmons, now 48, claimed that Diddy allegedly once threatened to hit the Baby Phat creator.
“Kimora said something to Combs and he threatened to hit her” in an alleged instance the New York Magazine interview claimed at the time. Simmons also added, “And I was pregnant! The moron!”
The story, however, continued, further claiming, “Combs eventually got down on his knees in public to apologize.”
Simmons also cleared the tiff during that time, after she gave an update, saying, “I respect him for being a fierce entrepreneur and I appreciate knowing that everything he does is emulating my husband.”
Simmons was then married to Russell Simmons, owner of Phat Fashions LLC, under which she founded Baby Phat. The two wed in 1998 and parted ways in 2009.

Cassie Ventura's accusations against Diddy
Ventura filed a lawsuit in the Federal District Court in Manhattan on Thursday, November 16, where she accused Combs of rape, physical abuse, and shocking "freak offs."
Ventura, who was in an 11-year-relationship with the founder of Bad Boy Records, wrote in a statement, “After years in silence and darkness,” before adding, “I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”
Mentioning no specified monetary damage, Ventura claimed she sought "justice for the decade of her life that Mr Combs took away from her with threats of violence, excessive use of drugs, physical and psychological abuse and sexual slavery," per Reuters.
Ventura has accused Diddy of violence, sexual battery, shocking "freak offs" with male prostitutes, and raping the 'Me & U' singer. However, in a surprising development, her attorney claimed that Cassie Ventura agreed to resolve the lawsuit a day after filing it, per CNBC.
