Internet feels ‘sad’ for IShowSpeed as he leaves India without meeting his Idol Virat Kohli during ICC Cricket World Cup 2023
CINCINNATI, OHIO: Darren Jason Watkins Jr, also known as IShowSpeed to his fans, has left India with lots of memories.
IShowSpeed, an avid fan of the former captain of the Indian Cricket team, Virat Kohli, attended the World Cup match with the dream of meeting his favorite cricketer.
Nevertheless, his aspiration to meet Kohli remained unfulfilled. However, the 18-year-old streamer and YouTuber had the opportunity to greet and engage with the secretary of BCCI, Jay Shah.
IShowSpeed leaves India without meeting Virat Kohli
Speed was recently seen at Narendra Modi Stadium in India, showing his support for his favorite cricketer, Virat Kohli, and the Indian cricket team during the ICC World Cup 2023.
In the videos that have taken the internet by storm, Speed is seen visiting various places in India while wearing the Indian cricket team's jersey with Kohli's name on it.
Speed, a renowned gaming streamer for 'FIFA,' 'Fortnite,' and 'Roblox,' had previously met Cristiano Ronaldo in Lisbon, Portugal, where he presented his gaming content to the Portuguese star.
However, Speed could not get the chance to meet Kohli.
Fans sympathized with the streamer and expressed their sadness on an 'X' post shared by an account named Muffadal Vohra.

When IShowSpeed labeled Virat Kohli as 'GOAT'
A video of IShowSpeed meeting with BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has gone viral on social media. In the video, IShowSpeed is seen displaying his trademark energetic style.
They both posed for the camera, exchanging a handshake. During their friendly conversation, Shah encouraged him to give a thumbs up. When discussing Kohli, IShowSpeed told Shah, "Yes, Sir, Virat Kohli is the GOAT, man."
