LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Paris Hilton recently attended a Formula One race held at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday. The pop singer recently took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos from the motor racing event.
For the event, Paris looked elegant as she opted for race-appropriate attire including a chic all-black leather outfit with matching leather gloves. However, Paris' caption received backlash as she called the latest racing event as 'first-ever Formula One in Las Vegas'.
She wrote, "So incredible getting to be a part of the first-ever Formula One in Las Vegas!😍 Such an incredible time watching history!! 💙✨🏎️ @F1 #LVGP 🔥."
For the unaware, the first-ever Caesars Palace Grand Prix's Formula One motor race was held in 1981 in Las Vegas. It was the fifteenth and final race of the 1981 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Meanwhile, the consecutive year followed the event marking the sixteenth and final race of the 1981 FIA Formula One World Championship. However, the 2023 F1 race marked the first event in Las Vegas in 41 years.
The social media users took to the comment section and slammed Paris for messing up with the F1 historical details. An Instagram user commented, "It is not the “first ever F1 in Las Vegas “. We had that in 1982 Gran Prix of Ceasers."

Paris Hilton recently graced the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix party as a DJ. She allegedly arrived for a DJ set at the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas when she looked around at a half-empty dance floor.
Paris looked stunning in a custom bedazzled racing jumpsuit and was seen lifting her sunglasses to scan the half-empty tables of fans cheering as another DJ announced her upcoming set.

Verstappen finished the race ahead of Leclerc and Sergio Perez. The Las Vegas GP marked another racing event where Verstappen snatched the win away from polesitter Charles Leclerc.
