NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Jennifer Aydin recently made an unpleasant remark about Melissa Gorga's appearance. The reality star compared Melissa to Dylan Mulvaney, who is known for her gender transition. It seemed that Jennifer was indirectly associating Melissa's appearance with that of a transgender.

Dylan, the comedian, actress and TikTok personality, is the talk of the town due to her gender transition with the help of plastic surgery. The trans activist documented her gender transition journey on TikTok, calling it the 'Days of Girlhood Series.' Popular commentator Joey Mannorino discussed Dylan's new look on Twitter. When he posted her new look on Twitter, Jennifer chimed in to make a comment.

Did Jennifer Aydin compare Melissa Gorga to a transgender?

It seemed so through her comment. On June 11, Joey shared Dylan's pictures on his Twitter account. As he shared the snaps, Joey captioned it, "Describe Dylan Mulvaney’s new look in three words." After Joey posted it, Jennifer instantly posted her views in the comment section. All About The Tea reports Jennifer commented, "Looks like Melissa." but later deleted it. Fans instantly took notice of her comment. Comparing Dylan's look with that of Melissa's hinted as if the 'RHONJ' star was trying to compare Joe Gorga's wife to a transgender.

A fan took a screenshot of Jennifer's now-deleted comment and posted it on Twitter, asking, "Is this supposed to be funny?" And, in no time the internet users started slamming the 'RHONJ' star for comparing Melissa to a transgender. A user commented "Trans people aren’t free from being criticized for their fashion choices lol. The issue is Jen comparing Melissa to a trans woman as an insult. We both know that Melissa doesn’t dress or style herself like that, so why the comparison?" "I have never liked her (Jen Aydin that is) and comments like this do nothing to change that," another slammed Jennifer. Another called out Jennifer's comment, "I thought this was gross too but kinda not shocking. She kinda gives me Kelly Dodd vibes tbh." An internet user tweeted, "Def not funny at allllllllllllll expected better from Jen honestly."

Many users tried to defend Jennifer's comment saying she meant the similarity of Dylan's hair with Melissa's. Slashing this theory down a user commented, "If she was meaning the hair, why delete the comment? She usually doubles down on her comments to people eg: sorry you're poor, so why not this one? Why delete?" Another called out Jennifer, "Jen’s trying so hard to have this meme moment and she’s exhausting." A user called the stunt to be "Very disappointing."
