Jada says 'no reason to get a divorce'
Jada appeared to be in high spirits, radiating happiness — this comes in the wake of her bombshell revelation on the 'Today Show' last week, disclosing that she has, in fact, been separated from the 'Fresh Prince' star for seven years.
Opening up to Hoda Kotb, she shared, "By the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying. I think we were both still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be."
Despite their separation, the actress remains steadfast in her decision not to file for divorce.
She revealed to Hoda that she made a solemn vow to Will—never to give him a reason for them to part ways, even after openly acknowledging an affair with August Alsina in 2020.
"I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce," she affirmed.
Despite the apparent authenticity with which the Maryland-born beauty has been sharing her experiences, some fans have criticized her for the constant barrage of her drama-inducing "reveals" as she hit the talk show circuit.
