Internet baffled over Joe Biden’s ‘creepy’ gesture as he invades interviewer’s personal space

WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden talked about his mental health and physical fitness in a recent interview on Sunday, October, 23 with MSNBC, as questions surrounding whether the 79-year-old who is soon to be 80 years of age is even fit to re-run for election in 2024.

On 'The Sunday Show, Biden talked to host Jonathan Capehart who aired a segment in which the journalist phoned his aunt Gloria and asked Biden about his Democrat-voting relative concerns about his age. Biden explained, "Well, I think Aunt Gloria should take a look, I think it's a legitimate thing to be concerned about, anyone's age, including mine. I think that's totally legitimate." While further adding, "I could get a disease tomorrow, I could drop dead tomorrow." But what caught netizens' attention was reportedly his "creepy" hand gesture in the end.

Biden in his last segment said, "In terms of my energy level, in terms of how much I am able to do, I think people should look and say is he still have the same passion for what he's doing, if they think I do then I can do it" and "if they don't," adding "they should not encourage me to not to go." Biden placing his hand on Jonathan's shoulder while both burst into a small chuckle added, "but that's not how I feel, I can't even say the age I am going to be I cant even begin to get it out of the mouth." Trolls soon pointed out the gesture was creepy while adding its invasion of Jonathan's personal space. 

One social media troll added, "Ok that got a little creepy at the very end." While another pointed out that Biden was invading host Jonathan Capehart's personal space and wrote, "This clip. Wow. The invasion of the interviewer's personal space at the end of the clip is the cherry on top." "I thought he was working on that personal space stuff," another chimed. A tweet noted, "That whole stopping and placing hands on interviewers shoulders is creepy af!" One joked, "I was waiting for Biden to sniff him and ask what shampoo he uses." "What on earth was that at the end?!?" a troll questioned.
