Internet attacks ‘RHOSLC’ star Heather Gay for suing Monica Garcia after being countersued for ‘botched’ fillers
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: In a dramatic turn of events, 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' star Heather Gay has taken legal action against Monica Garcia for unpaid bills related to fillers provided at Heather's medical spa, Beauty Lab and Laser.
Monica had sought lip and nose injections at the spa in 2019, agreeing to a monthly payment plan. However, trouble ensued when Monica allegedly failed to fulfill her financial commitment.
Monica's initial payment of $449 covered a setup fee and a $400 down payment for the services, according to The Sun.
The agreement was for her to pay $200 monthly for 10 months, but she reportedly fell short of meeting these obligations.
Heather Gay, a successful businesswoman who owns Beauty Lab and Laser, has now sued Monica over the outstanding payments.
In a surprising twist, Monica is countersuing Heather's company, citing breach of independent duty of care, breach of contract, and breach of duty of good faith and fair dealing.
Monica contends that she only made the initial payment because of alleged "defective, negligently given injections" that did not produce the promised results.
As a result, she claims to have incurred additional expenses seeking corrective care elsewhere.
While Monica acknowledges Beauty Lab and Laser's offer to rectify the issues with her nose and lips, the internet is in a frenzy and attacking Heather for suing Monica over unpaid bills, citing that suing a 'single mother' for a mere $2000 was nothing but just overreaction.
"She suing her for 2K…. A single mother for 2K. Idk what Monica but nothing deserves this overreaction. Send it to collections like a normal person. Really expected more from Heather."
A user wrote. "Not Sorry I won't pay for botched services either and I certainly wouldn't let them near my face again...the reunion should be lit.
"Monica is saying she has receipts..it definitely explains why the whole cast ghosted Monica at Bravo Con," shared another.
"Beauty Lab isn't suffering because of a $2,000 bill.. dramatic much?" quipped a user.
"If you're struggling cause of $2000 then maybe your business plan isn't that strong," added another user.

Heather Gay didn't hold back while describing Monica Garcia's latest move of counter-suing her as "desperate" after Garcia countersued her in the ongoing banter involving unpaid bills from a lawsuit, labeling Garcia's legal maneuver as nothing short of a desperate attempt to shift the spotlight.
“This lawsuit in the press has no merit and is unfortunately a pattern of behavior from a desperate woman who when unable to pay her bills lashes out to avoid accountability,” Gay wrote on Instagram Story.
