HILLSBORO, OREGON: 'Little People, Big World' star Amy Roloff might have parted ways from her ex-husband Matt Roloff. But the reality star still wanted to be a part of his life. Amy tied the knot with Chris Marek in 2021 but she doesn't want to drop 'Roloff' from her name.

However, TLC star Amy uses Roloff when it comes to her business ventures and it seems reasonable as Roloff has become a household name over the 16 years. Amy Roloff uses 'Roloff' as her last name to be associated with Matt's family

Amy recently shared her recipe for un-stuffed cabbage soup to celebrate St Patrick's Day. While some social media users found the recipe delicious, a few wondered why the reality star still uses her ex-husband's last name. A social media user took to the comment section of the video and asked, "Why is she using Roloff instead of Marek?" Another user said, "Just have a curious question. Why don't you use your married name instead of Roloff." Another user added, "Why not drop the Roloff name since you've remarried now?" Another user questioned, "Does Chris care about you still using Matt’s last name? That would bother the hell outta me."

Meanwhile, this was not the first time Amy was questioned for using 'Roloff' as her last name. Previously, Amy also explained the legal reasons and emotions behind the 'Roloff' name. During an Instagram Live with her BFF Lisa, Amy revealed, "I use my married name when it comes to legal stuff, or bank and personal business and all that stuff. It’s Amy J. Roloff-Marek." Amy further explained why she chose to keep Roloff as her surname. The reality star explained, "All of my kids are Roloff. My grandkids will be Roloff until they marry or whatever it is. Roloff [was] my married name when I had all my kids and grandkids." The TLC star added, "I wanna still be associated and tied [to them] so that later on, these kids will still, you know, feel like they’re connected. So legally, my name is Amy J. Roloff-Marek."

Amy Roloff tied the knot with Chris Marek in 2021

Amy got divorced from Matt, with whom she shares four children, in 2015 after 27 years of marriage. However, Amy thought she never in a million years be getting married again. But everything changed when she met Chris. Chris popped the question to Amy in September 2019 at one of the couple's favorite restaurants and the reality star said 'yes'. After a few years of dating, The loved-up couple exchanged vows in August 2021. Amy and Chris tied the knot at Roloff Farms in Hillsboro, Oregon in front of 146 guests, including Amy's children, grandchildren, their extended family, and closest friends. Notably, Michael Williams officiated the couple's wedding and also walked Amy down the aisle. However, just a day before her wedding, Amy shared a stunning photo from her rehearsal dinner and gushed about her wedding in the caption.
