'This angers me': Internet furious as clip shows magician Ben Murphy tackled on stage in cruise ship
In a shocking incident that was captured on camera, an Australian magician was attacked on stage during his show on a cruise ship. Ben Murphy was giving a performance on Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas on March 1, when he asked a female guest to join him on stage.
Murphy began his latest trick with the woman while someone in the crowd was videotaping the performance. In the video, Murphy leans in close to the lady who is seated on the stage and presses his mouth against a folded card that is stuck between her lips. A man then charged at him after he had delicately leaned in to tap their playing cards together as part of the playful act.

'No witnesses'
According to Murphy, it took a week before someone approached him to get a statement, and he claimed he has informed the delay was caused by the fact that "no witnesses" were present. According to Royal Cruises, it is not possible to remark on an ongoing investigation.

Social media users sprang to Murphy's defense as soon as they saw the video and expressed astonishment. A user wrote, "Wow......hope your all good." Another user said, "Should be spending the remainder of the cruse in the brig." "We were in the audience for this and my jaw nearly hit the floor…. Feel sorry for not only you, but the poor wife and kids who saw the whole thing," one penned. "This angers me," said another. "What the hell happened !?" a shocked user said.
