Recently, Instagram left its users confused and annoyed as they found almost all pictures shared on the app swamped with comments reading “Nah he Tweakin”. Many people even thought that their social media accounts had been hacked since they couldn’t load comments under their posts, and those who could, only found “Nah he Tweakin” comments.

One user tweeted, “So I thought my Instagram was acting up, so it’s everywhere.” Another one wrote, “Me after seeing the 3,489th ‘nah he tweakin’ comment on Instagram.” The third user added: “Nah he tweakin Im tweaking, are Instagram comments hacked?”

A person shared a meme and wrote, “When I see ‘Nah he tweakin’ comments.” The second one said, “i logged off for one hour and came back to ‘nah he's tweakin’ EVERYWHERE.” “My IG account got disabled for no reason. I've tried a sending reports and nothing has happened.  Please give me back my IG account I have a lot of valuable friends + content there and I did not violate any rules! My IG handle is @nasirshams & I can verify my identity!” a tweet read.

However, after seeing people getting mad over this new glitch, Instagram took to its official Twitter account and cleared the air by writing, “Yeah we tweakin, but only a little bit. We’re aware that some people are having issues loading their comments (we're fixing that) and that some are seeing a bunch of comments saying ‘nah he tweakin’ (what is that?). More soon!”

“Today some people experienced trouble loading comments on Instagram (except, it appears, for “nah he tweakin” Face with monocle). We’ve resolved this issue and all comments should now be back,” the statement added.

What’s with ‘Nah he Tweakin’ comments?

“Nah he Tweakin” comments reportedly went viral after Lil Nas X wrote it first in the comment section of an Instagram post by Rap by RAPTV referring to skateboarder Tony Hawk and his controversy. So, Hawk has launched new skateboards, which contain his blood. But apparently, the rapper is not happy because when he released his line of sneakers that contained his blood, he received a lot of criticism.

The 22-year-old whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, also took to Twitter to share his frustration. He wrote, “now that tony hawk has released skateboards with his blood painted on them, and there was no public outrage,  are y’all ready to admit y’all were never actually upset over the blood in the shoes? and maybe u were mad for some other reason?”

However, when Rap by RAPTV shared a post announcing Hawk’s new launch and wrote in the caption, “#TonyHawk's blood is being used in $500 limited-edition skateboards. Y’all rockin with it⁉️” Nas X commented below it, “nah he tweakin”. Though the ‘Industry Baby’ singer did not explain what did that exactly mean, Urban Dictionary describes “tweakin” as “The act of not making sense or saying stupid s**t”. So by that, it can be speculated that Nas X believes Hawk’s blood-infused skateboards are stupid. Hawk has not responded to the whole saga yet.
