Actor-producer Rob Lowe and his wife Sheryl have proved that patience is not only a virtue but indeed a necessity in today’s high-end real estate industry. The celebrity couple just sold off their Mediterranean style Montecito mansion in California at $45.5 million to the co-founder of RoundTable Health Care Partners.
Having listed their home at $47 million in 2018 and with only one price cut in 2019 to $43 million, the dreamy property can grab anyone's attention. Lowe shot to fame in the 1980s with films ‘The Outsiders’, ‘Oxford Blues’, and television drama ‘The West Wing’. More recently he has made appearances in the sitcom ‘Parks and Recreation’ and television series ‘The Lowe Files’. Now that he has sold this exquisite property here's what we need to know about it.
The mansion emanates classic East Coast-style vibes. It was designed by architect Don Nulty in 2009 and stretches over to 10,000 square feet. Its huge compound houses 20 rooms. This includes large open formal rooms, a huge white and cheerful family kitchen, a separate catering kitchen, eight bedrooms, eleven baths, and an office. The eat-in kitchen is fitted with white cabinetry, a large center island, stainless steel appliances and marble countertops, with bar seating as well as a breakfast area.
