HERRIMAN, UTAH: Taylor Frankie Paul, a famous influencer who was arrested for hitting her 5-year-old daughter, is facing charges related to domestic violence. The soft-swinging Mormon was sent behind bars after she threw a metallic chair at her boyfriend but instead it landed on her young girl, as per the latest records. Her boyfriend Dakota Mortensen mentioned in an interview with Daily Mail that the accused “didn't mean to hurt anyone” and said he was not the one who called 911.

However, as per the latest court documents, it is now confirmed that he did call the police on Friday, February 17, after Paul threw “heavy metal chairs at him” and “put him in a chokehold.” The record also confirms that Paul threw her phone at him and he “fear[ed] for his life.” The fight between the couple was recorded in a video but has not been made public. The court records also mention that Mortenson told Paul to quit throwing stuff at him since he was standing next to her five-year-old daughter, Indy, but that didn’t work either, reports DailyMail.

Charges pressed against Taylor Frankie Paul

Soon, one of the chairs struck the child in the head and left her with a ‘goose-egg’ injury, as per records. It is not known what started the whole altercation. Paul is booked with a felony count of aggravated assault and two felony counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, along with one misdemeanor count each of child abuse and criminal mischief.

Mortenson has opened up about the whole incident in an interview and told that he had picked Paul and brought her home after she attended a 'Galentine's Party' – a bonding event for women held around Valentine's Day on Friday night.

It seems the couple may have been in an altercation that soon turned awry. "I'm not even allowed to speak with her," 30-year-old Mortensen said. "I really don't want to talk about it but I want to clarify a few things." "I didn't call 911."

'She never hurt anyone intentionally'

"I'm going to wait for everything to come out before I speak on it," he added and suggested, "'She never hurt anyone intentionally." However, it remains unclear why Paul, who has over four million TikTok followers, and Mortenson who also has a base of fans on the social media platform lost their cool. The latter frequently talks about his drug addiction and alcoholism spreading awareness on the social media giant, reports MEAWW.
