There are a few rivalries in NBA that spice up the game. Back in the day, it was Chicago Bulls' Scottie Pippen against Patrick Ewing and now, it has to be Indiana Pacers' small forward, TJ Warren against Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler. In the game between the two teams on Monday, August 10, these two were the cynosure of all eyes on Twitter. For those unaware, the on and off-court scrimmage between Warren and Butler dates back to earlier this year.

January 8 saw Pacers and Heat face-off and mid-third quarter, there was a mix-up between the two. Warren grabbed Butler's arm and the latter was clearly unhappy as they got right into adding some harsh words to the exchange. It eventually had to be the teams pulling them away from each other. Not that it stopped there though as Butler called Warren "F***ing trash" while Warren wanted to hash it out in the back hallway. An enraged Warren was eventually kicked off the game and Butler sent him off by blowing a kiss.

The post-game press conference too saw some sizzling action as Butler went full-tilt fury against Warren. And now, back to the Pacers v Heat. With the scoreline reading 92-114 in favor of the Heat, let's take a quick look at how the duo fared. Jimmy Butler raked in 19 PTS, 11 REB, 5 AST, 4 STL, 5-13 FG while Warren scored 12 PTS, 5 REB, and 5-14 FG along with 2-6 3P. That thought was enough to get fans talking about the kind of day the duo had.

One fan had his say on who was the better player. "Lol where the TJ stans at now?"

And another.

Some were thoroughly disappointed with Warren's performance tonight.

For a few fans, it was just that the game sans the stoked rivalry between two, but didn't have much to offer. Duncan Robinson fans had their share of celebration as they hailed him as the "Best shooter in NBA" for his scintillating performance. That said, Heat will face Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, August 12, and the Pacers again on Friday, August 14, where Warren will be hoping to make amends.
