DELHI, INDIA: Sima Taparia from Mumbai has taken over our screens since the first season of the reality program 'Indian Matchmaking' debuted on Netflix in 2020, amid the pandemic. The program soon became one of the platform's most popular series. Sima from Mumbai, reputedly one of the city's top matchmakers, returns in its third season, which premiered on April 21. Among her new worldwide conquests are Indian clients who hit it off on their first date, but things take a different turn after that.

Pavneet Kaur, a public relations professional, meets filmmaker Tarun Tyagi in Delhi, and the two hit it off right away. Did Sima manage to provide her audience with her first success story from India over the course of her three seasons, or did Pavneet and Tarun call it quits after Season 3?

Pavneet has 'good vibes' on her first date with Tushar

When Pavneet first meets Sima, she offers her list of demands for a future companion. She is seeking a passionate man who enjoys traveling and doing exciting things. Being creative, intelligent, and ambitious is a huge benefit. She is seeking someone tall because she is 6 feet tall. Men have told her that they are intimidated not only by her height but also by her way of life. Tushar is Sima's choice for Pavneet since he is tall, a director, self-made, and creative. According to Sima, he has a good sense of humor and is quite kind.

Tushar reveals in his confessional that he had butterflies in his stomach on his first date with Pavneet. Pavneet, on the other hand, thought Sima did an excellent job. She goes on to say that the date was "more than good." She was optimistic about the match because they couldn't stop talking after three hours. The date ends with Tushar asking for Pavneet's number. In a confessional, she admits that even if he hadn't asked for her number, she would have given it to him because they had such a nice evening.

Tushar ghosts Pavneet

Pavneet confesses in the season finale that "the first date with Tushar went very well." She acknowledges that she "likes him." She characterizes their relationship as having "good vibes."

Even though he did end up taking her number, Pavneet didn't hear from Tushar for over a week, which she felt was 'weird.' One day, she receives his message unexpectedly. He informed her that he had assumed he had saved her phone number, but this was not the case. He then sought Sima's assistance in finding Pavneet's phone number. Pavneet reflected, "He could have done that before."

She didn't consider it a "good sign." Tushar requested Pavneet to meet again, and she was unsure. She wasn't looking forward to the meeting, since she wasn't sure if she should say yes. She didn't want to draw any conclusions about what happened or why he did it. Furthermore, she feels that everyone deserves 'clarity,' and she was curious to see how things would turn out. Pavneet needed to know where things were heading with Tushar, both for herself, and so she could update Sima on their progress.

Tushar ghosted Pavneet after what she thought was a good date, according to her. Tushar kept apologizing for being AWOL. Pavneet felt he should apologize as he is a bad texter. When Tushar speaks of a third date, Pavneet doesn't seem too excited this time. He realizes he must 'earn' a third date. Pavneet thought the conversation went well, much like their first date, and they were laughing. She likes the fact that Tushar has a sense of humor. She appeared to be relieved.

Are Pavneet and Tushar still together?

When Tushar asks where Pavneet sees their relationship going, she turns the question around to him. Tushar asks if she wants to "explore it more" and whether they're on the same page. Tushar believes the couple should go on more dates and explore their relationship further. He displays a desire to learn more about Pavneet. When Tushar notices Pavneet's lack of enthusiasm for the proposal, she admits that it is the result of "something you did in the past two weeks." She stated that she wanted to know whether Tushar's claims were accurate or not. Tushar stated that he wanted to "make it up too."

Pavneet admits in a confessional, "I would like to know (him) more, and I would like to see, like, if he's really feeling something." Pavneet felt herself connecting with him numerous times on their second date. She rates their connection as a 6 on a scale of 0 to 10. She stated that she would want to see where things go while keeping her excitement in check so that she is not disappointed again. Not only that, but she was feeling 'neutral' at the time.

It is unclear whether Pavneet and Tushar are still together at the time of this writing. However, the two continue to follow each other on Instagram.

'Indian Matchmaking' Season 3 is available for streaming only on Netflix.
