IMAX to show 'Mission: Impossible-Fallout' sneak peek as extended ending to 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom'
IMAX viewers are in for a treat this weekend as they will be seeing a sneak peek into Tom Cruise's summer blockbuster 'Mission: Impossible-Fallout'. The behind-the-scenes sneak peek will be playing as an extended ending to 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom." The sneak peek will not be playing in front of traditional format showings of the Jurassic World sequel, according to the Collider.
'Mission: Impossible - Fallout' is being digitally re-mastered, and images are being formatted for the enormous screens in IMAX. The ComicBookMovie.com has reported that based on the announcement teaser, the sneak peek will contain some unseen footage from the death-defying helicopter stunt. It will also feature Ethan Hunt (played by Cruise) and August Walker (played by Henry Cavill) attempting to stop one another while dodging the jaws of death.
Ever since its release in 1996, 'Mission Impossible' has attained cult popularity among cinema-goers for its appealing background score, its breathtaking stunts, and of course, the confused muddled up stature of its character Ethan Hunt. Cruise is seen performing spectacular stunts alongside Simon Pegg, and the same continues to the latest addition to the franchise. In 'Mission: Impossible- Fallout', Hunt is seen taking the burden of the failed mission upon himself. However, doing so puts both his life and work at stake, putting his loyalty and motive in question as the CIA is unable to decipher if their employee is involved in an agenda of his own.
The CIA decides to hunt down their own man, as Hunt races against time to save the world- at the same time, attempting to save his own life. The trending summary of 'Mission: Impossible- Fallout' reads as, "the best intentions often come back to haunt you. Mission: Impossible – Fallout finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.
The RadioTimes notes that most of the MI characters are returning to reprise their roles, such as Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Pegg as Benji Dunn, and Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust. There have been a few new additions such as Cavill, who plays the role of the trained killer August Walker, and definitely stands apart from the rest of the cast. The other members include Michelle Monaghan as Julia, Alec Baldwin as Alan Hunley, and Sean Harris as Solomon Lane.
