'What I meant last night was that I'm raising my son alone and I'm not in a relationship,' Iggy wrote on a plain black background.’
'You lost a real 1!!!!' she wrote, adding: 'People take loyalty for granted & That's why I'd rather be alone [vomiting emojis].' The 'Sally Walker' rapper first revealed she had a son in June again via Instagram Stories, following weeks of speculation she'd given birth in secret. 'I have a son. I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realise I'm always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world,' she wrote. 'I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words,' Iggy added alongside a blue love-heart emoji.
In July, Iggy revealed her son's unique name, Onyx, in a short clip shared to Instagram. The video consisted of the words 'Amethyst & Onyx' - Amethyst being Iggy's legal first name against a plain black background. A 10-second audio recording of the baby cooing accompanied the text.
On Sunday, the 'Black Widow' singer shared two pictures of herself with her baby boy, Onyx, and captioned it with a baby angel emoji. Iggy is wearing a black dress with a corset in the picture, her hair in a messy bun tied in a scarf. Her baby is wearing a beige tee, a bib and blue shorts.

The announcement came on the heels of rumors that Iggy and ex-beau Playboi Carti (real name Jordan Carter) named her son, Gilbert. Carti is yet to be confirmed as the little boy’s father — or speak out at all about Iggy’s baby — but a fan page for the Atlanta native posted about the family a week earlier. “Iggy Azalea spotted for the first time with her and Playboi Carti’s newborn son, Gilbert Carter,” they captioned a photo of the Australian rapper and her son.
According to a screenshot captured by the Daily Mail, Iggy refuted the claims made on the Instagram account. “What made you choose the name Gilbert?” one fan asked. “I’m OK with y’all joking [and] all, but let it be known I didn’t name my child that. LMAO,” the 'Pretty Girls' singer allegedly responded.
