Recently, a Reddit user took to the platform and spilled a speculation about the "knife sheath" that Kohberger allegedly brought in 1122 murder house that was reportedly found next to Mogan's body by the authorities. The user took to Reddit and wrote, "Why bring a sheath to a killing spree in the first place?" The user further added, "What purpose would it serve? Are you really going to re-sheath your dagger when it is loaded with blood? It was a sloppy mistake. Conspiracy theorists say it was planted. Well tell me, why then? Oh, Bryan is a wierdo so let's set him up? NOPE!!!!"

Since Kohbeger's arrest, the Internet has been flooded with bizarre theories about various aspects of the case. The Internet has witnessed illogical and conspiracy theories about the victims and the suspect. However, until after Kohberger's arrest, the police withheld some crucial information from the public. However, the police released essential information through the affidavit after when Kohbeger made its first court appearance.

Bryan Kohberger's DNA evidence

On the sheath's snap button enclosure, Kohberger's DNA was found, and it was later confirmed that it matched him. Police "stole" trash from his family's Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, home on December 27 in order to obtain a sample of his DNA. As previously reported by MEAWW, the samples they took from his father's house matched the sample found at the crime scene.

About Kohberger's charges

Kohberger is a PhD candidate in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University who earned a master's degree in criminal justice from DeSales University in Pennsylvania in May 2022. He is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in connection with the brutal stabbing deaths of four students.

Police had put in a lot of effort to find him, gathering cellphone data and locating his white Hyundai Elantra. Additionally, the judge has already issued a gag order in the case, so neither the attorneys for the opposing sides nor the families of the victims can speak publicly about it. Kohberger waived his right to an immediate preliminary hearing on January 12. Reportedly, the next hearing will take place on June 26, as per reports.
