'It's crazy': Bryan Kohberger's hairstylist says he was her 'regular,' booked session weeks after murder

MOSCOW, IDAHO: The investigation into the murders of the four University of Idaho students Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, seems to be coming to a close after the arrest of 28-year-old criminology student Bryan Kohberger on December 30, 2022. Now, many people who knew Kohberger have started revealing new details about him and his hairstylist is among them.
Rose Perez, an independent hairstylist who works at Powers Barbershop in Pullman, Washington, revealed how "crazy" it was for her to find Kohberger linked to the Idaho murders. He was her regular client, she revealed in 'Horror in Idaho: The Student Murders" series on YouTube.

In the video, Perez said, "Brian Kohbeger was one of my regulars. I have been cutting his hair since July. The first time Brian ever contacted me was through voicemail." Perez continued, "My last appointment with him was December 2 at 1.45pm."
She further said, "It's crazy to find out I interacted with this person. I touched this person's hair. I made this person look and feel good about themselves. I saw his mugshot and fell on the floor."
How was Bryan Kohberger arrested?
Kohberger has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and felony burglary following his arrest. However, the motive has not been revealed yet. According to the affidavit, Kohberger's cell phone was discovered 12 times close to the scene of the crime before the killings.

Kohberger's family has earlier released a statement through their attorney. The statement reportedly read, "First and foremost, we care deeply for the four families who have lost their precious children. There are no words that can adequately express the sadness we feel, and we pray each day for them. We will continue to let the legal process unfold and as a family, we will love and support our son and brother. We have fully cooperated with law enforcement agencies in an attempt to seek the truth and promote his presumption of innocence rather than judge unknown facts and make erroneous assumptions. We respect privacy in this matter as our family and the families suffering a loss can move forward through the legal process," as per CBS News.
