MOSCOW, IDAHO: Idaho police continue to investigate the November 13 quadruple murders. In the process, there is new speculation based on the murdered student couple's visit to a fraternity house hours before the four friends were killed. Police also denied speaking with the family of Kaylee Goncalves, who was killed, that her injuries were more brutal compared to the other victims.

The suspicion over the student couple Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle's visit to the frat house was stated in an update released by the City of Moscow Police Department on the brutal killings of four University of Idaho students at their off-campus house in Idaho.

Regarding the ongoing investigation, the police department wrote "approximately 9.pm on November 12 to 1.45 am on November 13, when Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle were believed to be at the Sigma Chi house on the University of Idaho Campus at 735 Nez Perce Drive. Any interactions, contacts, direction and method of travel, or anything abnormal could add context to what occurred."

Referring to the frat house area, Aaron Snell, the Idaho State Police communications director told Good Morning America that "That actually seems to be one of the larger areas that we don't have a lot of information in. So being able to locate what they did that night, to maybe who they contacted, maybe any routes they took home, that would be important to the investigation."

The police also mentioned an incident when Goncalves was stalked by two men at a local business and considers it to be the ones she may have mentioned to her friends and family. "One male appeared to follow Kaylee inside the business and as she exited to walk toward her car. The male turned away, and it did not appear he made any contact with her," stated the investigators who further contacted both of them and found that the incident was an isolated one with no particular ongoing pattern of stalking and concluded that no shreds of evidence suggested that the two males were involved in the murders.

With no confirmation on which room was Kaylee's dog Murphy present during the murder taking place, the police also revealed that no evidence was to be found on the dog.

According to the update, as part of the investigation, they have been continuing to process and work through "more than 2,645 emailed tips, 2,770 phone tips, and 1,084 digital media submissions."

Meanwhile, Steven, the father of Kaylee told NewsNation that authorities told him that Kaylee's injuries were worse than the other victims but not many details were given. The families of the victims have been frustrated about the case still remaining unsolved and only a fewer details informed to them to which the Moscow Police contradicted and mentioned in the statement that "With the active criminal investigation, law enforcement has not released additional facts to the family or the public.'"

Looking for supportive contexts for the events and people involved in the gruesome murders, the authorities seek the support of the community in providing them with information or leads. With the investigation still in progress, the sharp weapon used to stab the students is the major evidence required and the police are still on the hunt to locate it.
