MOSCOW, IDAHO: A parking record reportedly showed that 90 white Hyundai Elantras, which are identical to the ones that authorities are looking for in connection with the Idaho quadruple homicide just off campus, are registered to park at the University of Idaho. All these 90 white Hyundai Elantras were reportedly registered for campus parking between the start of the fall 2018 semester and December 2022, according to partially redacted public records obtained by Fox News Digital.

Many of the ‘primary contact’ fields were left empty in the alleged parking records, and more interestingly the document contained the license plate numbers for all but one of the vehicles. Elantras from years other than the range of the car the police are looking for were also listed in the records. Just recently on Tuesday, December 27, Moscow PD said in a statement that, "Progress continues to locate the white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra believed to be in the immediate area of the King Road residence during the early morning hours of Nov. 13. Investigators believe the occupant(s) may have critical information to share regarding this case."

In connection with the case, police said they were searching for a white Hyundai Elantra from between 2011 and 2013 on December 7. As of their most recent public statements, police haven't been able to locate it. Detectives are reportedly going through a list of more than 22,000 Elantras that are identical, and police have been pleading with the public for any information they may have to share with the investigators. "If you know of, or own, a vehicle matching this description, or know of anyone who may have been driving this specific vehicle on the days preceding or the day of the murders, please forward that information to the Tip Line," Moscow PD added.

As they slept in their rented home on King Road, close to the university, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Madison Mogen, 21, were fatally stabbed on November 13 between 3 and 4 am. The victims were stabbed repeatedly, according to the authorities, using a "fixed-blade knife." Before going back to the King Road house at around 1.56 am, the four victims are said to have been at a number of sites throughout Moscow, according to police.

The Moscow Police Department, which is currently receiving help from the FBI, said on Tuesday, December 27 that they still have not identified a suspect. Since the investigation started, officials have changed their positions on a number of critical issues pertaining to the inquiry, including whether or not the other three victims happened to be in the way of a targeted attack on one of them.  Moscow police are asking anyone with information on the incident to call them at (208) 883-7054 or email them to tipline@ci.moscow.id.us.
